The Gatehouse

A two bedroom gatehouse that sits in solitary splendour in the park, complete with games room, hot tub, roaring open fires and the run of the park to explore its glorious oaks, water features and Old English cattle. A short walk to the Dabbling Duck pub, one of Norfolk’s favourites.

Punch Lodge

Copper Beech house is a beautifully converted barn complex on the shore of the big pond. It sits in the middle of the estate and has seven double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. It has a large banqueting room with a roaring fire, two reception rooms and all the space you need for a get together. Both buildings have their own kitchens and dining areas, so those with kids or those who simply want a bit of peace and quiet can have their own space. You can fish, swim, walk, run, ride to your hearts content. Maps are provided

The Bothy

Originally the home of the stable groom, the bothy is a lovely little snug above the stables, for a couple and perhaps a child. With only the horses and the hooting owls for neighbours, the bothy is a cute little home from which to explore the wilderness.

The Carriages ‘Mertyle & Beryle’

Reconditioned and fully furnished railway carriages on the site of the wedding barn provide a cracking place to stay for the bride and groom or whoever is holding a party at our woodland Shangri-La.

Little Massingham House

A lawn wedding at an English country house on a summer’s day really takes the biscuit. Little Massingham House is a glorious Queen Anne style house that sits on the eastern edge of the estate, surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland. Take the house and gardens exclusively for the weekend, or just for the big day. You will be lavished with champagne as you get ready and have photographs taken from 9am onwards. We can cater for your food and wine requirements, or you can do it all yourself. Get in touch to arrange. The house can also be taken for get together and celebrations, it boasts 9 bedrooms, a lovely period dining room, several reception rooms, and everything you would expect from a well-built house of this period.

Little Massingham Barn & Glamping

Our glamping site at the barn includes two luxuriously decorated and fully plumbed in railway carriages with bathrooms, log burning stoves and double beds, as well as seven fully furnished bell tents, also with fires, double beds and plenty of room for kids on camp-beds. The barn itself is a fabulous place to hang out as a group, play ping pong, light a roaring log fire, read a book on the sofa, or have a party. We like those. There’s a fort, giant see-saw, and swings in the play area in the woods behind, as well as a glorious wood fired hot tub under the tree canopy. Rewilding tours, wild swimming, clay pigeon shooting etc, all available on request.
